Dear Parents/Families,
We're very excited to have your children in our 4th grade class!  Please come in and visit or volunteer, as often as possible. We'd love to have you in our classroom. Families are children's first teachers. Please share with us your insights about your children's personalities, interest, and their best ways to learn.

Together we will help them progress this school year. Here are ways to support their learning:

At Home

Do homework every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, none is given on Friday. Students are responsible for the care and completion of all homework handouts.  (If absent one set will be held for your student.)
Read one hour each night, at their reading level.
Study spelling and all vocabulary words, in all content areas.
Practice multiplication tables (must know) and any other math being studied.

At School

Student must come to school everyday, on time, and prepared to learn.
Bring all homework assignments completed to students best ability. Families must not do students homework! This is how we check, to see if we need to re-teach difficult information.
Return forms completed and signed. We must have a working phone and way  to contact student's family at all times.
Treat others respectfully.
Use materials correctly.
Stay on task.
Finish classwork.
