Hello, I am Ms. Johnson-Shepard, a 3rd grade teacher here at Wilkins Elementary School. I am excited and delighted to have the opportunity to return to Wilkins. My EXPECTATIONS for my students and myself are very high. It is my goal as an educator to help every student reach his or her highest level of achievement.

As we work toward academic success there are important rules and procedures that have been established in our classroom. These rules and procedure will ensure that our learning climate is safe, positive and productive.

 

Classroom Rules
1. Follow directions the first time given.
2. Walk inside run outside.
3. Keep hands, feet, and other objects to yourself.
4. Stay seated unless, you have permission to get up.
5. Raise your hand to be recognize before speaking.

If a student chooses not to follow our classroom rules and procedures:
1st time - Warning
2nd time - Warning Write students name abd briefly discuss class riles and procedures.
3rd time - Loss of class privilege, Write rules and have parents sign them.
4th time - Phone call home, and a writing assignment.
5th time - SNAP Suspension pending parent teacher conference
Severe Disruptions - Send to Principal !!!!
